Molasses
Molasses is the main byproduct of sugar industries which is normally 4.5% of total cane crushed. It is raw material for Industrial Alcohol. There is one distillery installed in Bazpur for using this main byproduct. The capacity of this distillery is 50 KL Per Day. Bazpur Distillery is producing country liquor as well as foreign liquor. Country liquor brand is very popular in Uttarakhand.
Bagasse
Bagasse is the the 2nd major byproduct which is used as fuel in boilers. The remaining bagasses is being sold to the manufacturers of particle board, paper and news papers.
