The Kichha Sugar Company Ltd. Kichha, District Udham-Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand) was commissioned in the year 1972 with a rated capacity of 2000 TCD to produce white sugar by the standard carbonation process. The Plant was subsequently expanded to a capacity of 3000 TCD in the year 1984. The capacity was further expanded to 4000 TCD in the year 1992.

The factory is situated at a distance of about 2 Km from Kichha town in Kichha Tehsil of District Udham Singh Nagar and 16 km away form district Head quarters of Udham Singh Nagar. The nearest Railway station Kichha is located 01 Km away form the Mill site and the nearest Airport is only 15 km away, situated at Pant Nagar.

The operational area of the Sugar factory is spread over about 25 km² which covers about 330 villages of three blocks namely Rudrapur, Kotabag and Haldwani. The cane area of the Sugar Mill is approximately 10,423 Hectares.
